I make paintings of the landscape. Based on memory and observation, I make my paintings both fast and rather slowly.

With several paintings in process at once and using many layers of paint I develop a sense of light and space that is palpable.

I use oil and acrylic paint on panel and canvas.

I am a student of art history and am committed to the craft of painting.
